Making her Australian Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains debut is Liz Parnov. The former Olympic pole vaulter is no stranger to competition, starting her athletic career at 10 years old. At 18 years of age she was recognised as the youngest athlete in history to compete in the women’s Olympic pole vault. And now at 28 she still possesses the same dedication, practice and self-control that she learned following in the footsteps of her father and coach.
Shifting career paths from competitive sport to marketing, Parnov feels prepared to tackle any challenges that this season of Survivor throws her way.
In press materials she explains, “I think Survivor is the ultimate test because it pushes every aspect of a human being to its max, like physical, mental, social. You’re sleeping on the floor, you’re hungry and it just pushes you to that limit. It’ll be treading a fine line between losing it and focusing on the win.”
The new Australian Survivor Villain admits to loving the finer things in life like sleeping in her own king sized mattress and moisturising. But we’re sure that her attitude will get her somewhere.
Parnov feels right at home with the Villains saying that, “I’m a good person but my personality is very much larger than life — aggressive, short-tempered and a Taurus!”
We hope that the moon cycles work in her favour!
