The finale of Beauty and the Geek has aired and we have a winner!
Geek Lachlan and his Beauty Kiera were both crowned winners of the show, receiving $100,000 in prize money.
As viewers, we fell in love with wholesome Lachlan, who pulled on our heartstrings as we followed him on his journey to go from geek to chic.
Now, as the winner of the hit show, he can barely believe it.
“I feel so lucky to have been partnered with Kiera. She knew how to make me feel special and loved,” he said.
“We rode the emotional rollercoaster through laughter, tears and everything in between. I may not have found the romantic love of my life on the show, but I leave with a renewed sense of self-appreciation, confidence and understanding of how I deserve to be treated by girls.”
His partner and biggest supporter throughout the competition, Kiera, is also slowly taking in the news.
“I don’t even remember who I was when I first began,” Kiera said on the show. “I’ve gained a sense of self-worth and self-respect and I can literally do whatever I want now. This experience has changed my life.”
The last episode of the show went out with a bang, as the three couples had to compete in a Magic Mike Live challenge in front of a live audience.
The live audience was in fact the previously eliminated contestants, who also judged their performance.
