Netflix is delving into the world of the supernatural with a new docuseries Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified.
As the name suggests, the project will explore the world of aliens while pondering if they do, in fact, exist among us but have been kept secret by the US government.
In the trailer for the docu-series, we see some images that could feature real-life aliens and the “proof” that the government takes measures to cover up any evidence that extraterrestrial life exists.
The trailer also offers up footage of UFOs in the sky, and black and white footage of aliens running through the desert, while asking viewers to ponder why the footage was kept from the public and how much longer the evidence of other life forms can be suppressed.
According to Netflix, Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified is an “original factual television series featuring the most recent information and proof exposing the most top-secret government projects that handled contacts with and cover-ups of, extraterrestrial presence on Earth.”
Though claims of extraterrestrial encounters have long been dismissed, many believe the existence of UFOs is not just likely, but a certainty.”
“Do they want to help us? Do they want to harvest us? The big question is intent,” a voice-over in the trailer ponders rather ominously.
While the idea of being harvested by aliens is fairly unappealing, Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified looks to cover the investigation of their existence from every angle.
The docu-series is dropping at the perfect time as chatter around other life forms has intensified in recent months, following Congress being ordered by the US Senate to release what information they had on the subject of extraterrestrial life.
The report determined that the vast majority of the 120 or so incidents the Pentagon has been studying over the past two decades, including the 2020 footage of unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAPs), are not aircraft of American origin while neither confirming nor denying the existence of alien life forms.
A recent study also showed that 1,700 stars have the potential to see Earth and might have detected life down here, with four of those planets being known to possess rocky planets of their own that may house aliens.
Researchers went on to estimate that 29 of the planets are potentially habitable and may have the ability to eavesdrop on human radio and television transmissions, allowing any extraterritorial observers to learn a bit about us humans.
Hopefully not with the intention of learning how to harvest us.
Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified will premiere on Netflix on August 3, 2021.
