Farmer Wants a Wife 2023: Farmer Andrew (R) has found love with Claire (L). — Seven

The Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 journey to love came to an early end for Farmer Andrew tonight, but for good reason — he found love!

Although the season is far from over, 41-year-old Farmer Andrew announced tonight that he had fallen for Claire.

After declaring his love for the 37-year-old mine truck driver, the couple agreed to give their relationship a shot in the real world, and ended their journey on the show together.

Here’s how it played out.

Claire’s Feelings for Farmer Andrew

As Claire went to meet Farmer Andrew on Sunday night’s episode, she said she didn’t know what to expect from their conversation. However, she did say that she suspected it would be “something big”, and she was certainly right about that.

As she went to meet her farmer, Claire said that her “feelings for Andrew have definitely developed” over the course of the season.

“The chemistry was definitely there for me from the first date,” she said, adding: “There’s nobody like him where I come from, at all. He just keeps getting better.”

Farmer Andrew Declares His Love for Claire

Claire joined Andrew, and he quickly revealed that he’d had conversations with both Jessie and Sarah.

“They’ve since both left the farm,” he said.

Andrew then told Claire that they needed to have a “serious conversation” about their relationship.

“Thinking back now to when I first met you, it was your green eyes that first captured me,” he recalled.

Andrew went on to say that after the pair shared their first kiss, he felt that they’d both “put [their] reservations aside”.

“It felt to me as though we started moving in a good direction,” he said.

However, it was the days that he was away from the farm in the lead up to the Country Fair that cemented Andrew’s feelings for Claire. It was then, Andrew said, that he realised he missed her and was looking forward to seeing her again.

“You wanted me to let you know if my feelings changed in any way,” he said.

After a pause, he continued, “And I guess my feelings have changed, and I feel like it’s time I share them with you.”

Grabbing Claire’s hand, Farmer Andrew smiled.

“Claire, I’m falling in love with you,” he said, as Claire laughed, overwhelmed with emotion.

“I’m not laughing at you,” she clarified. “I’m just — I’m very happy, obviously!”

She added, “Thank you for sharing that, and how you feel. I’m definitely falling in love with you too, for sure. I didn’t expect any of this to happen.”

Farmer Andrew and Claire End Their Journey on Farmer Wants a Wife 2023

After the new couple had shared their feelings, Claire said that she was “pretty chuffed” about how things had worked out.

“I don’t know how else to explain it, really!” she exclaimed, before asking: “So… what happens now?”

Giddy, the new lovebirds shared a kiss.

“We’ll just make it up each day as it goes, if that’s what you’d like to do,” Farmer Andrew suggested.

Claire nodded. “Yeah, yep. I would definitely like that,” she said.

In a confessional, Claire described herself as “happy, and shocked, and so excited”, and said that she couldn’t wait to begin her life with Farmer Andrew.

“I’m just really excited for the future, to be honest,” she said. “Who would’ve even thought this could’ve happened?! It’s kind of mind-blowing, right?”

Farmer Andrew and Claire’s Journey to Love

Before the season premiered, Farmer Andrew described the qualities he would be looking for in a potential future wife.

“Someone who knows what she wants, is open to self-growth and enjoys being in a relationship that encourages the freedom to be you,” he said in a press statement. “Someone who’s caring, understanding, down-to-earth and honest. It would also help if she’s adventurous, creative, fun and spontaneous.”

Meanwhile, Claire said that “sharing life with your special person is one of the most important things” we do in life, and that she was hoping Farmer Andrew would be the one for her.

“Andrew looks and sounds like a man my pop would have wanted to meet,” she shared. “After reading his bio, I think we would really get along. I also like the fact that he loves his dogs.”

As fate would have it, sparks flew between Farmer Andrew and Claire early in the season. Now, the couple will embark on their life together. Hopefully, they’ll become one of Farmer Wants a Wife‘s great love stories.

To date, the show has produced 170 marriages, five long-term relationships, and 388 beautiful farmer babies born around the world.

In Australia, the show has resulted in nine marriages, five long-term relationships, and 25 babies. Perhaps Farmer Andrew and Claire will be next.
