The rush of Rush Australia has begun, and already, we’ve visited several stunning locations around the world. The show, hosted by David Genat, began with 12 everyday Aussies being divided into Team Gold, Team Navy, and Team Scarlet. Their mission? To complete challenges and make it to the Escape Zone as quickly as possible. The last team to complete a challenge has to eliminate a member. For now, though, it’s time to meet Team Scarlet member Adam Vassallo.
Rush Australia Cast: Meet Adam Vassallo
Outgoing, loyal, and competitive, Adam is from Sydney’s western suburbs, and when he’s not competing on Rush, he loves to tear up the dance floor and create music with his friends.
Growing up, Adam didn’t have many opportunities to travel the world, so when the chance to compete on Rush Australia came along, Adam couldn’t turn it down.
“I love meeting new people, I love seeing new things,” Adam said in a press statement. “Those things don’t leave you. You always remember it, but to go somewhere new in the world, that would be a lifetime thing for me. I’ve only been to Bali.”
Adam’s Instagram
Adam’s Instagram presence is full of happy snaps from nights out with his friends, photos with his family, and a few post promoting his music, for good measure.

Adam’s Rush Australia Game Plan
In an ideal world, Adam’s travel itinerary would be enjoying cocktails in Greece, he’s ready for the adventure of the unknown and pushing himself beyond his comfort zone on Rush Australia.
On the other hand, he admits that camping and roughing it out is not his idea of a good time.
“I need a shower, my bed, I need to feel comfy and I’m not that guy who likes fending for myself,” he said. “I’ll stay in a hotel by myself or a cabin when my mates pitch a tent camping. Have fun boys, have fun!”
But will Adam make it to the end of Rush Australia? Only time will tell…
Rush Australia airs at 7.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, only on 9 and 9Now. Missed an episode? Catch up on 9Now.
