Which of Samsung’s Bonkers Good Galaxy S23 Phones Is Right For You?

Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S23 phones overnight, which will officially be the first premium smartphones of 2023; the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 will be available in Australia on February 17.

The new range is an incremental update on the S22, but it introduces some features and design tweaks that will peak anyone’s interest. Interestingly, it combines some of the best performance and productivity features of the Note series with the  impressive camera capabilities of the S series to offer a phone that’s just as much for fun as it is for work.

There are a few big differences between the three S23 phones. The S23 Ultra has has a stylus and the biggest screen, while the S23 is the smallest of the range. The S23 Ultra is the premium smartphone in the range, and it has the high-end specs to prove it. A 6.8-inch AMOLED display is bolstered by a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, while a massive 200MP main camera sits on the back of the phone. It’s also the only phone in the S23 range that works with Samsung’s S Pen stylus.

The Goldilocks of the new range, the S23+ has lots of versatility when it comes to memory and storage and features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that’s just a bit smaller than the S23 Ultra. The biggest difference between the S23+ and S23 Ultra is the main camera — it’s a 50MP wide-angle lens on the S23+ and 200MP on the Ultra.
