If you can believe it, the nominations for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards have been released.
The music industry has seen a monumental shift this year with artists having to pivot away from packed arenas and touring, and turn their focus to a world of intimate social media concerts and Q&As.
While most spent time with their families, others used the time to create and release new music — and these artists, songs and albums have been honoured in this year’s list.
Airing live on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. ET in the United States — which is Monday, February 1, 2021, at 11.00 a.m AEST — the ceremony will be hosted by The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah.
In terms of nominations, “Queen Bey”, Beyoncé received nine nods, while Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber and Harry Styles were also nominated.
Among the Record of the Year nods — and joining Beyoncé — are Black Pumas, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Post Malone and Megan Thee Stallion.
