WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Season 8 of Married at First Sight Australia 2021.
We’ve finally reached the pinnacle of Married at First Sight season 8 and with the ending comes the final vows.
While we’ve already offered up a sneaky spoiler about the final decisions of the couples during these episodes, we thought we’d take it one extra step and tell you who is still together in real life.
Like every season, we know that you are dying to find out which couples have made it in the outside world, away from cameras, the other couples and of course, the insane drama and attention that comes along with the show.
So, who has turned their on-screen romance on-air, off-air and who has turned it off for good.
Who Is Still Together?
Patrick and Belinda
In exciting news, we can confirm that yes! Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers are still very much an item.
Six months after filming wrapped, both Vickers and Dwyer attended Fitzy and Wippa’s Married at First Sight Dinner Party in Sydney on March 31. Arriving at the venue holding hands, the couple is still going strong and we love to hear it!
Johnny and Kerry
This sweet couple has been nothing short of the refreshing boost to the show that we needed. They complement each other in the best ways possible, they support one another and we’re happy to report that they’re still going strong.
During an appearance on Today Extra on Wednesday, April 7, Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight appeared live from Balbuziente’s apartment in Brisbane.
“I’m just checking, are you at Johnny’s house right now, Kerry? The key still working?” Today Extra host Belinda Russell said, referring to the key Balbuziente had given her in a chic Louis Vuitton pouch on Tuesday’s episode.
“Safe to say, the key got me in here this morning,” Kerry told her. “He hasn’t changed the locks on me. We’re at Johnny’s house this morning.”
Love is not dead and we couldn’t be happier about it!
Bryce and Melissa
Host of the So Dramatic Podcast, Megan Pustetto, has a legion of adoring fans who not only love the off-screen drama of the MAFS cast but are also keen investigators when it comes to who is still together.
Back at the end of February, one fan delivered a major spoiler alert on the fate of Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson and it may come as a bit of a surprise to some.
One member of the podcast’s “Drama Army” snapped some photos of Rawson watching Ruthven playing soccer in Somerville, Victoria on Sunday, February 28.
Since then, there have been multiple sightings of the pair, including their attendance at Fitzy and Wippa’s Married at First Sight Dinner Party in Sydney on March 31.
Couples Who Are Not Together
Beck and Jake
Unfortunately for Bake fans, Jake Edwards and Beck Zemeck are no longer, with Edwards even getting busted in a series of social content with Gold Coast local Sophie Guidolin.
According to the pictures, which were shared on Guidolin’s Instagram account, Edwards flew up from his hometown of Melbourne to Noosa to celebrate her 33rd birthday, which means that the MAFS pair are no longer.
Alana and Jason
According to the So Dramatic podcast, Engler “dumped Lister via text” and has since begun dating another MAFS star, Tamara Joy.
The Daily Mail also reported on this news with photo evidence of Engler teaching Joy how to ride a skateboard — yup, just like he did with his TV wife a few months prior.
On April 6, incriminating footage of Jason appeared on the So Dramatic Instagram page where he is seen to be shaming Liam Cooper. Jason has since apologised.
Liam and Georgia
According to the So Dramatic Podcast, at the final vows, Liam chooses to stay before hearing what his bride has to say.
“She was basically bagging him out saying that her friends wouldn’t like him, and he doesn’t know how to love. She pointed out all of these negative things… she was basically saying to Liam no one loves you and you don’t know how to love me, “a friend of Georgia’s told Pustetto.
Apparently, Cooper was so “shocked”, he changed his mind. Oop.
