She’s the life of the party and has a tough exterior to boot, but Lauren is secretly a softie at heart.
Passionate about early modern European history, the 29-year-old office administrator from South Australia is definitely the kind of person you want to talk to for hours on end.
But despite having unique interests, Lauren hasn’t been so lucky in love, making her even more eager to win over Jimmy’s affection in the latest season of The Bachelor.
“I may have a tough exterior, but I’m not as confident as I seem,” she told POPSUGAR Australia.
Faking it till she makes it, Lauren is going to have to step out of her comfort zone if she wants to stand out amongst the other contenders.
But what she lacks in confidence, she makes up for through her intense demeanour.
Knowing full well that entering The Bachelor mansion comes with its fair share of cattiness, Lauren says she’s not afraid of a little confrontation.
“I’m not one to shy away from confrontation, but I always pick my battles. Not everyone is worth fighting, but I won’t hold back for the ones that are.”
At the end of the day, Lauren is there for one reason only: finding love, and that is exactly what she plans on doing.
The Bachelor Australia will premiere Wednesday, 21 July at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
