After seven emotionally charged — and fabulously styled seasons — Younger will come to an end in 2021 with the final episodes airing on Stan, starting on Thursday, April 15 at 6.00 pm (a day earlier than originally planned).
The popular romantic comedy series, which was created by Sex and the City’s Darren Star, has kept fans on the edge of their seat for the past six seasons as we’ve hotly debated whether Liza belongs with Charles or Josh.
To recap, or for those of you who might be a little late to the Younger party, the show revolves around 40-year-old Liza Miller (Sutton Foster) who pretends she is in her twenties to score a job at a New York publishing house after her divorce.
Liza’s white lie starts out as fairly benign — although, let’s be real, 100% illegal — but of course things get increasingly complicated as she forms relationships with the new people in her life both at work and outside of it.
In addition to two-time Tony winner Foster, Younger also stars Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis.

In preparation for the seventh and final season of Younger here’s a quick refresher on where we left everyone at the end of season six.
**Major spoilers ahead so read on at your own risk if you have yet to watch the season.**
Liza and Charles
As you might recall, the season six finale saw Charles proposing to Liza at Diana’s wedding — not to mention planning a vacation that included a Harry Potter tour which is why I am absolutely Team Charles.
Because this is a season finale and therefore must be a cliffhanger, Liza doesn’t answer Charles’ question because she might just have some unfinished business with Josh. Sigh.
Kelsey
In the final episode of season six, Kelsey announces that she is leaving Millennial Publishing with plans to start her own company.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t have the seed money and so decides to go to the conniving Quinn for a gig, thanks to some dubious advice from Maggie and despite the protestations of Zane (Charles Michael Davis), who she gets back together with again at Diana’s wedding.
Thankfully, Charles, not wanting to lose his protege, makes Kelsey an offer she (eventually) can’t refuse — enough shares to make her ownership in Millennial official and a seat on the board.
Josh
Having successfully figured out a way to keep baby mama Claire (Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor) in New York with their daughter, Josh has his hands — which are attached to his impeccably sculpted and tattooed arms — free to figure out his next problem: What to do about his feelings for Liza.
Naturally, he has good reason to hope that she might still have feelings for him too after she declares the tattoo he gave her “theirs” and therefore not for mass production through Josh’s new corporate collaboration.
Diana
After receiving the world’s most hideous wedding gift from Enzo’s family, it’s time for this matriarch of marketing to get married already! But not before she makes us all teary-eyed thanks to her touching moment with maid-of-honour Liza in the car before she heads into the church. Massive points to Enzo (Chris Tardio) in this episode too for gifting his wife with a fabulous statement worthy of his new bride.
Maggie and Lauren
Could these two quirky former flames be rekindling their spark? It certainly seems to be heading that way but with these two, you just never can tell.
