Amazon Prime Day is finally here! From Tuesday, July 11 to Wednesday, July 12 there are hundreds of deals on smart homewares, beauty, fashion and tech brands.
Last year saw deals on premium OLED TVs, MacBook Pros and laptops from Dell and Lenovo, Bose’s noise-cancelling headphones and even air fryers.
If you’re in the market for any of the above, or something similar, it’s time to start thinking about what to “Add to cart”. But don’t wait too long, you’ve only got 48 hours to shop the Amazon Prime Day sales.
Ahead, we’ve rounded up the tech deals that we think are this year’s hot buys.
PRISM+ Q65 Ultra, now $899
If you want to upgrade your living room setup, the PRISM+ Q65 Ultra is a fantastic premium OLED TV, available in 55 and 65-inch options. It features QLED Color technology for brighter and crisper colours, over 5,000 apps to download (like Netflix, Prime Video and Stan) and far field voice control.
Kindle Paperwhite, now $209
What better time to get Amazon’s best Kindle than during the Prime Day sales? The Kindle Paperwhite features a 6.8-inch display, a bigger screen-to-body ratio, adjustable warm light and 20% faster page turns, which all make a big difference when you’re engrossed in a good book.
Serious bookworms might want to spring for the Kindle Oasis, which has the biggest Kindle screen and dedicated page turning buttons.
De’Longhi Magnifica Evo, now $799
Is it time to make the jump from plunger coffee to cafe-quality espresso at home? We think so. The Magnifica Evo can make espresso, coffee, long, doppio and more recipes at the press of a button, and will even ground the beans for you.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, $1,960
If you’re in the market for a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is well worth it. The 200MP camera produces stunning photo and video. And while the 6.8-inch screen may sound “too big”, but we can say that it helps to get things done all in one place.
Philips Air Fryer Premium XXL, now $269
Missed the air fryer craze until now? There’s no shame in that, but if the Philips Premium XXL goes on sale during Amazon Prime Day you might want to consider jumping on the bandwagon. It’s the most efficient air fryer Philips has ever made and features a Smart Sensor to automatically adjust the time and temperature it cooks at for perfect results every time.
Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, $309
Headphones on, world out is exactly how this pair of Bose 700s will make you feel. It has 11 different modes of powerful noise cancelling technology that can help with concentration in the office, at home or outdoors. And you’ll get 20 hours of wireless listening time after a full charge.
Nintendo Switch OLED, now $449
As we approach the first anniversary of the Switch OLED, the latest Nintendo console is dipping in price fairly regularly. It’s the best Nintendo console to get right now, with a much larger screen, brighter screen than that Switch and Switch Lite.
PlayStation 5, now $699
While it’s still hard to buy a PS5, Amazon Australia gets frequent restocks and it would make sense if there’s one planned for Prime Day. You’ll need to act quick through, because stock of the standard console and digital edition never lasts long.
ECOVACS DEEBOT N8 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, now $399
Want to keep the house clean with the tap of an app? The Deebot N8 Robot Vacuum cleaner is for you. With an all in one vacuum and mop solution, you can save time and energy while this handy machine gets the job done.
