You Can Design Your Own Wine Labels Online With This Victorian Winery

Giving someone a bottle of wine for a gift is great, but handing over a bottle with a label you designed yourself? Well, that’s even better.

The personalised touch will always win your more brownie points at the dinner party, while simultaneously allowing you to flex your artistic muscles.

Victorian winery Fowles has pioneered a new DIY initiative that allows buyers to design and print their own custom labels onto its delicious, award-winning wine.

“People often say they ‘buy wine on the label’ as if it’s a guilty secret. Except it’s not! A label adds to the overall experience of wine, which is why we put so much effort into our own,” says Matt Fowles, founder of Fowles Wine.

“As Australia’s first winery to launch a fully customisable wine label store, Fowles DIY takes our love affair with design one step further… Now you get to create the labels you love, for the people you love, with award-winning wine.”

First, you choose your preferred drop. Fowles can customise labels for eight of its wines, including chardonnay, shiraz, sparkling rose, and pinot noir. Next, you use the Label Lab to upload your design or favourite photos, or select from a number of templates and existing image libraries.

Once you’re happy with your custom design, your labels will be printed onto commercial-grade labels and applied to your Fowles Wine bottles. You can order two bottles, or choose a case of six or 12 (you can save up to 20%, the more you buy).

Your bottles will be delivered anywhere in Australia — right to your door or direct to the gift recipient.

While the DIY service opens the door for a heartfelt present, we imagine things could get quite funny too. With no limits to what you can print on the labels, there’s nothing to say you couldn’t print your favourite meme or wine-related puns.

To get cracking on your personalised labels, head to Fowles’ dedicated DIY site now.
