PSA: Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders Is on This Sunday

is big brother on tonight sunday reggie bird estelle landy

It’s been a wild season of Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders from the second it began, and we saw former winners Reggie Bird and Tim Dormer re-enter the house.

We’ve been glued to our screens as we’ve seen the OGs battle it out, trying to take out the New Contenders, especially fierce competitors like Aleisha Campbell, Johnson Ashak and Taras Hrubyj-Piper.

With both Estelle Landy and Dormer being evicted from the house this week, we’re now heading into the final week of Big Brother Australia with only one OG left standing — Australia’s sweetheart herself, Reggie Bird. Will she be able to become Big Brother‘s first and only two-time winner?! We’re on the edge of our seats!

According to Dormer, if Bird can make it to the Final Three, she’ll be the likely winner.

“There was a feeling in the house that the audience would get behind the newbies, but that has. Not. Happened,” he stressed. “The audience wants an OG to win, it seems.”

As for Dormer, he thinks that perhaps things played out in the best way possible.

“I think it would’ve been nice, us two sitting next to each other, and Reggie herself has said ‘I wish we could’ve both been there at the end!’ but I say no way. Because either [Reggie] might’ve beaten me and I would’ve hated [her] and we wouldn’t be friends, or I would’ve beaten [Reggie] and Australia would’ve hated me for robbing [her] of the win!”

Of course, it wouldn’t be Big Brother without a twist or two, and this week, there’s a twist for us, the viewers.

After airing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all season long, Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders is switching things up for its big Finale Week.

That’s right, for the first time this season, Big Brother will air on Sunday, July 10th, at 8pm. Then, it will air as normal on Monday, July 11th, before airing the big live finale on Tuesday, July 12th, where they will announce the winner of Big Brother Australia 2022. Eep!

It’s all happening, and we don’t want to miss a single second, so we’re marking our calendars, cancelling our plans, and getting in our comfiest clothes, ready to see how it all unfolds.

Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders continues at 8pm on Sunday, July 10th, only on 7 and 7 Plus.
