Well, it is safe to say that so far, The Bachelor Australia has been worth the wait — and we are only one episode in.
The first episode had it all. Glamorous gowns, plenty of champagne, a bachelorette who arrived (late) via crane and another lady who apparently needed to pass gas so badly she felt the need to tell all of Australia about it.
We also met the Bachelor himself, 31-year-old Jimmy Nicholson who seems very nice and, judging by his parents’ house, very rich. And we thought the two things were mutually exclusive.
Jimmy is no trust fund bro, though, no sir. This handsome chap with the chiselled features and a perfect six-pack is a pilot…so, naturally, Channel Ten sent him a woman named Stephanie who deplores aviation professionals with the kind of burning hatred usually reserved for people who put tomato sauce on pizza.
We’ve also already seen two hopeful bachelorettes sent home, even though they managed to keep their bodily emissions private and don’t seem to harbour any ill will toward pilots.
Phew! With all of that going down in episode one alone, we cannot blame you for not wanting to miss a second of the action.
So, here’s the scoop: The Bachelor Australia airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play and if you want more behind the scenes fun then make sure you are following all of the ladies on Instagram and be sure to keep reading POPSUGAR Australia for their recaps.
