If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s to expect the worst but hope for the best. And if the drama surrounding the Married at First Sight all-stars reunion is anything to go by, we’ll be doing just that.
When Can We Watch It?
The highly anticipated Married at First Sight Grand Reunion will air over two nights on Sunday, January 31 at 7.00 pm and Sunday, February 7, at 7.00 pm on Channel Nine and Nine Now.
What Can We Expect
The official synopsis reads: “Sparks fly as some of the most memorable brides and grooms from past seasons gather for the reunion of all reunions. The MAFS favourites revisit the infamous dinner party table and the tell-all confession couch when they all get together for the first time since leaving the experiment – it’s a television event not to be missed.
“Old flames reunite, friendships are formed, and broken ones mended, past conflicts resurface, redemption is earned and after all this time, people are held accountable for their actions.”
Part one will be an explosive dinner table reunion, while part two will see the group join
MAFS relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling when they catch up with each participant and see what they’ve been doing since we last saw them in the experiment. (Which is kind of funny since we already know, thanks to Instagram and the stars’ incessant need to stay relevant.)

Jessika Power vs Cyrell Paule
To be honest, we’re a little bit shocked that it’s not Cyrell Paule vs Elizabeth Sobinoff, however, as the two-time MAFS participant is not appearing at the reunion, we’ll have to settle for Jessika Power.
Now, when we say settle, don’t mistake that for feeling hard done by — because the tea is already piping hot.
When interviewed by The Wash about the impending meet-up upon her arrival to Sydney, Power said that she hoped Paule had “matured since having a baby”. Luckily for us, it seems that Cyclone Cyrell hasn’t matured that much, sending an epic message for her former co-star on Instagram: “Let’s get one thing straight… just because I’ve had a baby, doesn’t mean my morals or attitude has changed!!!,” she wrote.
“If you want to come at me and disrespect me, I’ll slap some sense back into you. Bitch… I pushed a baby out my Hoo haa… don’t think I’ll hesitate in knocking ur ass back to last week. Best things bout reunions… ur not hiding behind Instagram anymore… say it to my face.” Classy as always, Cyrell!
Nasser Sultan vs Cyrell Paule
Probably two of the biggest hotheads the franchise has ever seen, it’s no wonder that Paule has gone head-to-head with Nasser Sultan from season 3.
According to the Daily Mail, Sultan has dramatically quit the reunion after an “explosive clash” with the mother-of-one, leaving the Lilyfield Warehouse (home of the MAFS dinner parties) after the dinner party turned on him.
Sultan told the publication that an argument arose when Paule asked for an apology for “trolling her baby” — 10-month old Boston, whom she shares with Love Island star Eden Dally.
“She wanted me to apologise. She said I’m a troll. That I trolled her when she was pregnant. Which there’s no way I did,” he told them, before adding: “She went off. It was like death in her eyes.”
Sultan then said that he had to apologise “three times” but she just “kept at me, at me, at me. She stood over me.”
Producers then had to step in where filming came to an abrupt halt and Paule was led away.
“I got attacked tonight by the whole dinner party and I walked out,” he claimed.
In photos obtained by The Wash, Power was seen leaving the reunion looking distraught and an insider said that Ryan Gallagher was “rude” and “irrelevant” during filming so doesn’t get much air-time.
There’s one more day of filming for our collective bunch of reality TV misfits and if day one was anything to go by, we’re in for a real ride.
