There’s no denying it, the National Gallery of Victoria is a sigma dom. If this building was a person, I would want them to step on me and then throw me down a flight of stairs.
That’s right, the National Gallery of Victoria is just that good. The National Gallery of Victoria is a maze of thought-provoking artworks, detailed labels explaining each piece’s meaning, and A+ angels to enjoy said handiwork from.
But what’s currently on at the National Gallery of Victoria? Whelp, here are two exhibitions that I cannot recommend highly enough.
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen is one the best fashion designers of the 1990s through till his death in 2010. His works are truly unique, being inspired by London’s queer club scene, the breadth of cinema, and a dosing of history.
The National Gallery of Victoria is displaying over 120 garments and accessories that McQueen worked on. But you better get in quick, cause this exhibition is only on at their International branch until April 16.
