Over the last 20 years, NCIS has scored an impressive amount of spin-offs. We’re talking Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Hawai’i. However, last year, it left the domain of America’s militarily controlled areas, and headed down under. The mega-franchise’s first international edition, NCIS: Sydney, debuted.
NCIS: Sydney details international tensions amping up in the Indo-Pacific region. The show follows a team of American NCIS Agents who work alongside Australian Federal Police (AFP) Agents, as they collaborate to solve some of the franchise’s biggest cases. This multinational task force is tasked with keeping Indo-Pacific’s naval crimes in check, but if the trailer below is anything to go by, it won’t be smooth sailing the whole way.
“This is my harbour!” AFP counterpart Sergeant Jim ‘JD’ Dempsey (Todd Lasance) exclaims.
“And this is my investigation,” NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey (Olivia Swann) shoots back.
Over the course of the trailer, we see that the team will tackle murders, terrorists, and… snakes. Welcome to Australia, indeed!
