Move over, Bachelor, move over, Love Island, move over, Farmer Wants a Wife, because there’s (another) dating show in town. That’s right, it’s time to board The Real Love Boat!
This year, Network Ten is serving up a dating premise that is essentially Love Island on a boat, but with gorgeous scenery and sexy singles, who’s complaining?! Not us!
The Real Love Boat takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and is essentially Love Island on a boat. Together, they’ll travel the seas, visiting picturesque locations in Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro along the way.
The singles will pair up into couples, and then face a number of challenges (like new bombshells entering the boat) designed to test the couples’ chemistry and long-term compatibility.
Based on the original scripted series from the ’70s, the crew of The Real Love Boat are also there to assist the contenders in their quest for romance.
Hosted by Darren McMullen, The Real Love Boat also features Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier — who Bravo heads will recognise from Below Deck Mediterranean — as well as Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo Arrigo.
Will any of our singles find love and never let go? Or will the band play on as their love sinks to the bottom of the ocean?
