Whether you love or loathe them, you can’t deny that The Block has featured some delectable casts. In 2021, who didn’t simp the melodramatic energy of Mitch and Mark? In 2022, wasn’t the chaos of Ankur and Sharon delicious? The Block’s 2023 season could only hope to cast such icons.
However, The Block’s casting team has an excellent streak in motion. They always cast just the right number of heroes and villains. What’s more, it’s unlikely that they would willingly drop this ball.
In July, The Block dropped its 2023 cast list. Here’s what we know about these folks.
Kyle and Leslie
Kyle and Leslie are a couple from WA. Kyle is a firefighter, and Leslie is a teaching aide.Â
Gian and Steph
Gian and Steph are a team from NSW.
Gian works in finance, and Steph is the CEO of her own company, SjO Architects. Steph is the first architect ever to be cast on The Block.
In the trailer for the 2023 season, Steph said, “As an architect, we’re here to not give the conventional version of anything.”
Liberty and Eliza
Liberty and Eliza are sisters from Victoria.Â
Liberty is a renowned radio producer. Meanwhile, Eliza is an integration producer and a co-host of the dating podcast, Finding a Unicorn.Â
During The Block’s trailer, Liberty said, “We’re hoping there are some single tradies.”
Leah and Ash
Leah and Ash are a couple from Queensland.
Leah is a first aid officer, and Ash is the only builder on this season on The Block. As a team, they run the building company The Milton Project.Â
Kristy and Brett
Kristy and Brett are a couple from South Australia.Â
Kristy is a project manager, and Brett’s a safety officer. Do you have what it takes to win this year’s Block? The proof will be in the episodes.
The Block drops on Sundays through to Wednesdays on Channel 9 and the 9Now app.
