Welcome to The Summit Australia. The show challenges 14 strangers to hike to the top of one of New Zealand’s highest peaks for their share of a million dollar cash prize, in just 14 days. It’s a brand new reality competition series for Channel 9, and that means it’s time to put faces to the names of the 14 trekkers who make up The Summit 2023 cast.
The Summit 2023 Cast: Meet Lulu
Lulu is a two-time world champion boxer and mother, and now, she’s taking on The Summit Australia and all of its adrenaline-fuelled challenges.
Lulu has a tough demeanour, and when she’s in the ring, they call her “Bang Bang Lulu”, because she can maintain a friendly smile while taking down her opponents in the ring.
“I become a smiling assassin because I’m still smiling at you while punching you in the face,” Lulu quipped in a press statement.
With her petite stature and friendly demeanour, Lulu finds that her competitors often underestimate her. She is, however, a force to be reckoned with in the boxing ring.
“I’m little, I smile big and I’m pretty friendly, but they don’t know that I could beat their ass,” she said.

Lulu’s Journey to The Summit Australia
For Lulu, the Summit Australia 2023 was the perfect opportunity to combine her love of adrenaline-fuelled adventures with her passion for overcoming challenges. She’s also excited for her children to see her tackle this new experience head on.
“This is going to be a challenge for me and I enjoy that,” she said. “I want to do this for my kids so they can see me do this and overcome the hardships of the moment. I think it will be powerful for them to see and take into their own lives as well.”
Lulu is excited for the opportunity to showcase her strength, both inside and outside of the boxing ring. But will she make it to the peak? Only time will tell…
