If anyone knows how to throw an indulgent getaway, it’s Veuve Clicquot. Have you heard of the Veuve Clicquot ‘Solaire’ lifestyle? No? Well, let us enlighten you.

Think private picnics on the beach, hot chefs (and Australia’s hottest chefs), and champagne sunsets by the pool. Sounds dreamy, right? If you’re ready to check into paradise, here’s everything you need to know.

Hotel Clicquot is returning to the glistening coast of Noosa, Queensland, for a relatively quick pop-up lasting from October 13 to 28, 2023, allowing guests to savour the Veuve Clicquot ‘Solaire’ lifestyle.

Room

Surrender to a sun-soaked hideaway just a five-minute drive from the heart of Noosa. Take in the ocean views from your spacious suite, and enjoy private access to Sunshine Beach from the Veuve Clicquot Hotel.

Food and Drink

As expected, the culinary offerings are, by and large, high profile. Acclaimed Chef Peter Gilmore of Sydney venues Quay and Bennelong will be offering an exclusive dinner experience, along with legendary Martin Benn (ex-Sepia, Society) and Chris Hemsworth’s private chef, Sergio Perera, who will lend their expertise in signature culinary events.

One of the events, The Garden Gastronomy dinner, is already being praised as the highlight. Developed by Veuve Clicquot to showcase the prestige cuvee of the House, La Grande Dame, the menu marries vegetables with Grand Cru grapes, highlighting herbs, fruits and vegetables and using meat, fish and eggs as condiments.

Peter Gilmore will be hosting the dinner from October 19-28. From October 11-19, Martin Benn will step up to the plate and take guests on an unexpected journey where vegetables are the heroes and champagne shapes the meal. Think of a garden-inspired menu that showcases beetroot, rhubarb, goat’s yoghurt, spanner crab, and dashi butter.

Sergio Perera, an alumnus of some of the world’s best restaurants, from Azark to Mugaritz, will host the Sustainable Dinner. Diners who sit at Perera’s table will be treated to a meal that focuses on sustainability and champagne. It’s one not to miss.

Spa

All guests of Hotel Clicquot receive a complimentary one-hour massage in the Day Spa. You can also upgrade to a one-hour facial, using only local, vegan and organic products by SAYA. Enjoy a double cleanse, exfoliation, face massage, and glow serum, all whilst indulging in a neck, shoulder, and scalp massage.

Yoga

Start your day with an intimate sunrise yoga session overlooking the ocean. A Noosa-based instructor will take you through a Rise and Flow meditation session on one or both mornings of your stay.

Clicquot Dreamboat

We might not be in Italy, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pretend. Cruise down the Noosa River in a classic mahogany speedboat, like the ones they have in Italy. A curated picnic with a bottle of Brut Rosé will await you on a private slice of the riverbank.

Cinema

This isn’t your typical cinema experience — it’s a Clicquot Cinema. Sink into a comfy lounge with a box of popcorn and, of course, bubbles. You can stream your favourite TV show or give into the hotel’s retro-chic vibe and start with a classic, like Casablanca or Roman Holiday.

Hotel Clicquot is taking bookings from October 13 to 28. A two-night all-inclusive stay costs $10,000, while a three-night stay has a price tag of $15,000.
