Catch a Flick at an Outdoor Cinema
Enjoy a slew of films under the stars in Centennial Park at Moonlight Cinema or flock to Westpac’s OpenAir Cinema, with a backdrop of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
From now until February 2024, you can take a picnic blanket and your favourite snacks to the various outdoor cinemas across the city, where films on offer include Priscilla, Pretty Woman, Argylle and more. If you’re feeling fancy, opt for the food and drink options available at each cinema, from corn ribs and nachos at Moonlight to eats from Sydney’s favourite restaurants, including Bar Copains, Kepos Street Kitchen and more.
Paddle Around the Harbour
Take advantage of those early morning rays with a sunrise kayak around the harbour. Sydney by Kayak rents out kayaks and leads group tours at sunrise and sunset. Alternatively, you can hire a kayak and go on your own adventure, for as long as you want. Is there a better way to start a summer morning than a paddle on the water? I guess you’ll find out.
Discover a New Walk
It’s summer, which means hot girl/guy/them walks are back. They’re a great way to explore your neighbourhood or a new area. Consider the Bondi to Manly walk, an 80km track, connecting two iconic beaches. Don’t worry. You don’t have to tackle it in one day; you can split it up into sections. We suggest exploring Parsely Bay and its secret bridge. We also have a list of the best walks in and around Sydney here.
