Farmer Wants a Wife’s Alex Taylor has never been in love… until now. Sort of.
After a dramatic exit and then re-entrance by Henrietta Moore, the 29-year-old kicked her to the curb, choosing Jess Wolfe to be his lady love.
It was clear from the start that the pair were a match made in heaven (unlike his relationship with Moore, which seemed to be based on lust) and even had the most romantic kiss of the season.
Peas in a pod, Wolfe and Taylor complemented one another, so it’s no wonder that he chose her to continue their love journey.
Throughout the previous episode, Wolfe expressed concern that she thought her farmer might be concerned about taking her away from her family with whom she is very close, however, Taylor didn’t let that detail stop him.
“Your partner shouldn’t be your wife, she should be your best friend and I think I’ve found that. I think I’ve found my best friend,” Taylor said in a piece to camera.
“I’m pretty excited that I get to tell Jess what I wanted to tell her this whole time, that I think I’m falling in love with her.”
When Wolfe arrived, with a gut feeling she was about to be heartbroken (she can’t even tie her shoelaces, you guys!) Taylor told her that ever since they shared the romantic rain kiss he “hadn’t been able to get it off my mind”.
“You’ve always made me laugh, the things that come out of your mouth,” he said before adding that when he is around her, he feels like he can be himself.
“I like that you accept for exactly how I am because some things about me aren’t easy to accept,” he added.
“I came here looking for a relationship and you said you could see yourself falling in love with me but I can see myself falling in love with you too, Jess,” Taylor said and it was just the sweetest thing.
Congratulations Alex and Jess!
