It’s been a long year for everyone in Australia, and we’re all needing something to look forward to right about now. And while, ideally, for many, that would come in a form of a holiday, if you aren’t heading on one soon, consider adding some anticipation to your life in another way: with an advent calendar.
Fortunately, Woolworths has this week added another calendar option to the existing, already-attractive mix, which includes this German-themed spice calendar, this calendar range from Aldi, these boozy advent calendars and this calendar of non-alcoholic beer.
The latest calendar to consider is the Thomas Dux 12 Days of Cheese Advent Calendar, selling in-stores for an affordable $20.
The calendar will feature six different Thomas Dux cheeses, including Double Gloucester with spring onions and chives, regular Double Gloucester, Red Leicester, Cheddar with black pepper, Mature Cheddar and Cheddar with chilli.
“Woolworths has a large and exciting Christmas range on the way, but our cheese advent calendars are one of our most popular Christmas products we sell during the festive season, so we’re thrilled to bring them back to help customers count down the days to Christmas,” says Woolworths Commercial Director, Chilled, Jason McQuaid.
“Our Thomas Dux cheeses have proven to be popular with customers who enjoy hosting and entertaining, so we’re excited to also roll out a wider range of new Thomas Dux products like dips, salami, and antipasto.”
If you’re not a fan of cheese, Woollies has a strong range of other advent calendars, including chocolate options from Kinder, Lindt and Cadbury, a coffee machine capsule calendar and a couple Disney Storybook Collection calendars.
Or, if you are a fan of cheese, but just don’t want a whole calendar of it, Woollies has a whole range of stand-alone Thomas Dux products with stand outs being a new Truffle Brie, a delicious Creamy Blue and an award-winning English Vintage Cheddar.
